Now in its sixth generation, Nissan’s iconic Z is a pleasing package of power and handling. It has one of the best V-6 engines in the business and a six-speed manual transmission with available rev-matching. The automatic, however, is not a willing partner in spirited driving, with slow shifts that detract from the fun. Feel like a track star? Then check out the NISMO model with its snazzier styling and rear spoiler. With 350 hp—18 more than the Z—it might not be faster, but it looks it.
